What model 5-speed did the 90 N/A Daytona come with? I just came back from the JY and there was one there....shifter, cables and all. I'm thinking if it's a 523 with 3.50 final drive, I've just found the first core for my hybrid......

A 90 would be a 523 and is most likely a 3.50 f/d.
Yep....loaded up a tool box and headed back down. Looked at the round tag and sure enough, 523 3.50. So I snapped it up. $138 for tranny , shifter assembly w/knob and boot and cables. Shifting feels great, cables and ends are in great condition. The GLHS is gonna love this

i went to the pick-n-pull yesterday and found the same thing in a shadow for about the same price, we're gonna head out and pull it next saturday
