Fall Cecil Track Rental Day! November 10, 2012

Charger went 13.4x @ 105.x. , 2.08 60' on 13 psi. Think it had a better eta in it but the tach stopped working and shift by sound doesn't work too well. Guy from Deleware was consistant 12.9's in his Jeep srt8. A 2013 GTR ran 10.8 bone stock. Saw a 7 second mustang to a wheel stand and then proceeded to hit the jersey wall practically head on, he was ok thankfully. Thanks to Pat for his help getting it track ready and safe.

It was cool meeting up with everybody today. My Barracuda had its best run to date. Worked out it was while up against Pat. I think my extra 4 cylinders were slowing me down. 12.29 to Pat's 11.01.

Pat, did you get to dip into the 10's after they got all the pony parts off the track?

I got there late but was still glad to meet you guys. I broke an axle again on launch, I was just going to do an easy take off just to get some A/F and EGT numbers but as the lights fell the RPM's went up, no self control what's so ever.

Rob_Mopar was nice enough to trailer me home while I rode in his Barracuda. That car is SWEET, rides as nice as a new car and the throttle response is like fuel injection. The guy knows his mopars, I have to give his shop a shameless plug

Erin & I were happy to get your wounded Omni home for you. Either go get the good axles, or put some really crappy tires on there so the stock axles will live!

^ I drove thru the water box and didn't do a burnout purposly so the tires would spin a little. I guess the Toyo Proxes R1R's are better than advertised.

My SRT 4 ran a best of 13.53 at 102.1mph. I had a good time and it was good to see a lot of familiar faces.

Wish i could have made it this year with a car to run.
As it turns out, the girls are still apart and waiting for the last batch of parts to arrive.
Hopefully I can get things together for spring in at least one car. Can't wait to get out and race a bit. Maybe by now I'll have forgotten any bad racing habits!

Good seeing everyone. Couple close calls with the wall and one Mustang going wheels up twice, then driving right along the wall.. then getting back into it and driving down the track..

Anyone happen to check out the new body style F-150 (short bed, regular cab, black) running 11's (I think). I didn't get a chance to track it down, wondering what was done to it and what motor it had.
