Haha my omni glht name is milk crate. I have the interior tore out of it to do the floors and I stuck a milk crate in it to move it around. So it got the name and it stuck. Actually all of my cars have names. My s10 is mighty mouse, the silverado ss is sonic, and my escort is egg carton.

amazing!!
Picked up a nice, complete 1990 2.5 T 1 engine yeaterday. Thinking this is going to be the replacement for the 200000 mile 2.2 in the CSX-T.
It'll be intercooled and backed up by a 520-555 hybrid with an OBX limited slip.
As for the body, the inside floors are coated with Lizard skin and the interior is being prepared for installation.
Photos soon.
That's going to be a nice car! Out of curiosity, what are you doing for the decals?
Be careful of the NOS decals. It is possible for the adhesive to be junk and not stick. You may want to have them used as patterns to have new ones made.
How are you doing the door decals? 1 large piece with the grey, 1 large piece with clear and then the colored letters (clear to let the grey come through), or individual pieces? The only reason I'm asking is that years ago I had a friend approach a vendor to make these, and they wouldn't do it for a couple of odd (and what we considered to be stupid) reasons.
BTW, I have another question. I haven't checked, so I could be WAY off (and please correct me if I am), but the website states that less than 200 CSX-T's are accounted for. Is this true?
We're having just the blue lettering made since we painted gray from the moulding down.
Last I saw on the Shelby registry, less than 200 CSX-T's are registered. I'm sure there are more lying around, but that's the only recorded count.
Plus there were only 2 at SDAC this ear for the CSX-T 25th Anniversary.
Wow...that sucks! Ikve personally seen 1 in the yard (it should be documented on the RIP list)N and I know there were at least 6 in just NE Florida just sitting. I guess I thought there were more since I had those in my proximity. So does that 200 also include RIP cars?
Sometimes the least wanted cars end up the most wanted after most are gone and also the most valuable.

How much was the lizard skin? Did you use both heat and sound, or just one
As an indication of how few nice CSX-T's are left, I believe it was the only Whittier car that was missing from Carroll Shelby's personal collection. Nice work in saving this one ajakeski.
