how big is the fmic you have now? you might not be getting any air to your radiator. Do you have a stock fan on the car?

Rad is new and the core is as thick as it gets. Will try to shroud it as much as I can but doubt that it will make a big enough difference.(hit 250*f)
    Thanks for the link.
Still hope to find one that is sitting in a box as a forgotten project!!

I have the spearco/budget intercooler. It pretty much blocks the whole rad. After about 12 minutes of lapping at 75*f. The car can handle it in traffic heat but the track is just to much. After it reaches 230 it gets heat soaked and the temp. just jumps to 250 within 1 minute.
The fan is off a spirit. As large as it can fit!

    Oil coolers work as well.

    Re: water to air intercooler

You might want to check that guy that we heard about running low temp in summer at the Ottawa/Gatineau meeting.

Do you have an oil temp gauge or you are relying on water temp only?
Beside having high temp. do you hear detonation?

I just re core a stock T2 rad that I had. They added special tube for added performance and they kept the fins really close so it can dissipate heat. I am gonna pick it up tomorrow.
I could have got the rad extended and had special square tank so it could have been easier for them to make but then, I don't have your hp plus I didn't want to go crazy since I have so many project too.
All in all, I had in my plan to have the front radiator free of an intercooler.

Seems to me I saw somewhere one for sale...now, where was that...

Btw, it would be nice to have a ride in yours before we both put them away.
