    Re: Shift Pattern Inserts

Dude, this guy is gone, baby gone. I was trading PMs with him a year ago. Was getting close, made my final selection to order and then he just went dark. If he actually answers your PM, you would be very lucky.

Post in the parts wanted section if you want. However, I seriously doubt anyone would give up one of theirs, and if they did expect a hefty price for it. These inserts we're custom made for a limited time period only. Nobody else has picked up this ball that I know of.

Indeed. They were super nice. I wish I had bought more of them.

    Re: Shift Pattern Inserts

As winter comes on I'll be able to produce these inserts again. For new designs I will need to implement some requirements. I've done some models that only sold 1 unit. My profit was nil on them. I need to be able to amortize the initial design(CAD) and programming time over multiple sales to be able to offer them at the affordable price I have sold them for. A minimum group buy will have to be established.
I have many of the existing models with some having multiple variants and I can still get these out to people at a good price.

I've fallen off and away from the cars for awhile. I've gone from having 7 G-Bodies to just 3 and one of those is in the process of being stripped and is also going away. I'm fitting my '86 Daytona CS T-Top with a new motor in a T2 conversion with a 2 piece intake and Shelby valve cover, A555 trans, 4 wheel disc brakes from an '88 Shelby Z, and Shelby Pumpers and will be selling it. By spring I want to try and put my Omni back on the road to be my last and only Turbo Mopar. My wife's Laser is still kicking after 14 years, so it will still be in my life for some time. If we sell it I'd have to find a buyer that is very familiar with these cars or I'd have to create a custom manual to cover the Frankenstein aspects of the car so that they could purchase correct parts for it. It's an '84 with stock electrical except the MP LM, but converted to IC'd blow through with my custom designed and machined IAS adapter.
I have 4 Sailboat projects going on at the same time. I was on the water for the last 5 months except for what time I had to sacrifice for work. I haven't even driven one of my cars yet this year.

    Re: Shift Pattern Inserts

Are these the full insert or just the caps? Either way I need one for a Shelby Charger and for an '89 Daytona.

I wouldn't hold your breath. I was PMing Dart about this time last year and haven't heard from him since he took my order. Shame too, because those pieces just look sooo nice, and my stock insert was missing when I picked up my Lancer 14 years ago.

he did say , he wasn't doing them anymore .. several years ago ..
maybe a part wanted add would get you someone's "extra" one (?)

    Re: Shift Pattern Inserts

I do recall that, but then he was talking about rebooting his manufacturing. We were speaking about it about a year ago, but then he never logged back on after taking my order. No harm done though, I hadn't paid him yet.

I guess I never thought of putting up a parts wanted ad since it seems like these inserts are cherished more than a holy grail lol
