Well here it is, i might be in the wrong page but here it goes. first off i just bought a 1988 Shelby daytona shelby-z motor runs and the tranny is a 5 speed. runs great here the thing. I have a subaru sti chassis with a motor and tranny on it. i want to take the shelby daytona car body and put it on the subaru chassis....what do you all think?

You could BUT both are uni body construction so its going to be a ton of work.

if both are uni body it should be easier wouldnt you think?
That means the body is sitting on what the call a latter frame so i mean its easier i guess maybe thats just me :/ idk i figured unbolt the frames and take them off and swap. when i did it on papper it looked easier.
Uni body means just that, its all one piece, there is no frame, hasn't been for years. So you'd have alot of cutting, welding to make it all work, and that's just part of the logistical nightmare you'll have.

It'll be an interesting project for sure. I don't know where I would begin with that one though. You'd probably have a lot of fabbing to do just to get the subaru suspension under the car.
It would be Easyer to just make the driveline work in the Daytona chassis then trying to swap the chassis over. There's already a all wheel omni out there.
