What was your best mph? I'm curious because you have 65hp on me, but if 103 is the mph, then something doesn't really add up as I trap 100 and my car puts down 225hp (confirmed on 2 different dynos).
Regardless of the answer to that, the gains are still VERY impressive! Congrats!
remember his 1/4 times were months ago and when the car was totally untuned. So the new hp #'s are not the same set-up/tune as the 1/4 miles times so trying to compare his mph to hp isn't is apples to oranges. I'm sure Stefan is looking forward to running the car at the track with his tuned configuration and see the improvements it causes.

OH! See, I didn't know that! LOL Makes a bit more sense now and is completely inline. As you were!
The spinning thru 1st, 2nd and into 3rd doesn't help my trap mph either . Just an fyi, in my csx vnt my best time was 13.67 at 100mph(using 1-4), my best mph was a 14.25 at 104mph(using only 2-4).

Thanks. was going to turn it up a couple more psi and play with the fuel a little more, but all in all i am very happy with how the car runs. now i can start focusing my attention to my actual race car

Wow, those are nice numbers for sure.
Thanks, car feels really good, but on the stock coil and +40 inj's I am maxed out of duty cycle. I also am running a fwd stage 5 comp. James and Cindy have been a real help with their years of knowledge. Big thanks to Will H. for working my big valve head.

Wow, those are great looking ports! Whoever Will H is he knows his way around a porting tool.

When i saw peak power at 5350 on the first graph i made a face but then this line made me really happy. Then I saw the last graph still showing power at 5350 and got confused... were you comparing power at those exact rpm to see changes?Retarded cam 3 degrees, gained 35 hp.
Dont push the red button. You hear me?
Which cam do you have pictured there?

First off when do you not make a face?
those were back to back runs, only change was retarding the cam 3 degrees. Both runs happened to make peak power at the same rpm, not really all that surprising. The second graph is ramping up quicker with the change, but there is still a lot of data to cover.

Will's great and a paltry 18yo. He's going to machine school here in Houston and apparently pays attention to detail!

That is correct it is a stock Cam that they build up and regrind. go to their website and check them out they show the entire process. I've been running that exact cam in my Lancer for over 9 years and it shows 0 wear. And also to date I have never had to send them a core, they have plenty in stock and only charge $15 Core charge
Interesting. Learned something new. Thanks.

Glad I could help just an FYI in order to have them build up a cam the cost goes up almost double, there's still nothing wrong with buying regrinds and shimming them. The only reason I started having my own cut was because there really was none available back when I started building my cars and I didn't want to have to mess around trying to figure out what size shim to use. Thankfully due to Cindy and James doing custom grinds and figuring everything out now we can buy cams right off the Shelf ready to roll. Like I said I'm still going to install an F-4 and see where everything is at
