    '89 Plymouth Voyager LE

    Date: 09th August 2012
    Username: mcsvt
    Full Name: Gary Mazzone
City, State, Zip: Beacon, NY 12508
    Contact: 61beet@gmail.com
Selling or Wanted Price: $2,000 OBO

    Description:
Time to clear out and focus on 1 project at a time. So first on the blocks:

    1989 Plymouth Voyager LE
    2.5L - Auto trans
    Just over 100k miles
Bought in California March 2011 and drove back across the US
Zero rust, body in great condition, fresh paint a few years back, some small dings and one small dent at top of drivers front fender
Interior in good shape, manual front windows, power rear windows, power locks, power mirrors, overhead console.
Buckets up front and 2 benches in the back. Rear bench is not the bed, but folds forward and slides forward and back.
    All windows have tint.
    A/C does not come on.

It's been sitting since October and has only been taken around the block/town 3 times since. Brakes feel soft, but still stop. Has a small oil leak and the wiper linkage came apart under the first heavy snow in Oct. Starts every time and didn't miss a beat in the 3k+ miles across the country. I have an intercooler I'll include that the PO started prepping the van for, no piping.

Here are some pictures, will add some more this weekend:

Updated details below: brakes and wipers fixed, still for sale 4/2/2013

I really hope a cool van like this doesn't leave the community and just become someones beater. I would love to buy this but your so far away and I need to sell my car first

Thanks guys, I hope is stays with someone on T-M or in SDAC too. If it doesn't sell I'm just going to swap it into storage when I move my Sundance to NY.

That looks nice! Its funny, every time I had put a van up for sale, someone from back east says "wish it was closer". NOW that a nice one is back east....no takers? Amazing!!

    Two interesting things about it....
1 electric rear windows, no electric front door windows.
2 non-chrome es style bumpers, but no side trim.

Dunno if they're that interesting, lot of '89s were like that. ES side trim wasn't until '90 methinks, but the bumpers were on V6 models earlier. The '89 TBI I had to part out had manual front windows and electric rears.

It's close enough for me to consider, now it's "I wish I had money"

Yeah finally a rust free van on the east coast and barely any interest. My charger is almost gone so the van get's the garage for the winter. I'll just fix it up so I can drive it to my other storage.

I've always found it odd that they had power locks and power vent windows, but not power front windows.. At first I wasn't sure if I liked the bumpers painted, but it's grown on me.

I don't get it either, this is nicer than the 89 auto mini I just bought. Love that paint.

Yah, but if you get 4 you can park them all tailgate to slider and have a cool/odd party room.

    Still for sale

Pulled it out of storage last Friday. Connected the battery and it fired right up! On Saturday I replaced the front flex brake lines with braided lines, brakes are perfect now. Also replaced all the wiper bushings and wipers work perfectly again.
