Caravan + Road Trips = 13.0 result on DOTs

First let me say that the van sat for almost two years
I was on my way to run at Fontana(1st SL race of 2010) when I
decided to take her for a quick run down the street before loading on trailer,Well I made it down the steet alright
and found myself walking back,I blew #4 plug out @ 26psi=NOTE;"DON'T USE PLUG INSERTS W/HIGH BOOST"

After replacing head Feb/Mar this year,and finding out that most the tracks
around SoCal were shuting down for various reasons,I found RACELEGAL @ Qualcomm stadium
(1/8 mile in parking lot) was still active,so I headed south and proceded to destroy transmission
You can here trans clutches screaming,needless to say it was a destructive 140 mile round trip
Track/Parking lot was real slick-trans could"nt decide what gear to stay in,Took a beaten!

(NOTE; I had no control of so called music!)

when I"M picking up time slip(couldnt find any gear!)2nd barely,and had to wench up trailer



After trans rebuild (#3) I finally decided to eliminate governor and go full manual,still had not
decided where to race yet but had a planned trip coming up to NoCal,I figuered that I could

So, you made a 13.0 pass already? Could you give us more details? Do you have a timeslip to post up?

Also, any details on the van or a link to a thread about the van would be great.

Very hot day,track opened @ 7pm-1st pass at 9pm warm outside tires @ 28psi
shake down pass 26#s = 13.7 @ 103+ w/2.4 60ft



left lane seems slick trying rt lane(10pm)
Cut a 1.9 60 ft for a 13.0 @ 103.63 tires set @ 26psi,26 #s boost

(11:45pm)hot lapping it,tires @ 24 psi,26 #s boost,2.3 60ft to rt lanes 2.0 60ft Left lane no traction,good race though 13.65 @ 102.65



Conclusion;Famoso is hands down the the smoothest most well maintained track in the west
was A good turnout,should have left tires @ 26psi==mORE TO COME FROM SACRAMENTO==

What tires did you pull that 1.9 60' on? Are these slicks, drag radials?

So far i know your boost # and what intercooler is on the van. Whats the rest of the setup?
