    autolite cross reference question

went searching for autolite AR51's for my '89 CSX and the guy on the phone says he cross referenced them to an autolite 303..........are they the same thing? These are for a stock VNT motor.

No, they are not the same. The threads are the same, but the 303 is a resistor plug with a 3/8" reach while the AR51 is a non-resistor plug with a 3/4" reach. I don't think a 303 would work in our heads. Whoever you were talking to on the phone was wrong.

Advance Auto normally carries them. Order online, select in-store pickup and use a coupon code (P20 for 20% off, for example. Ask google for other ones)
