I was thinking the same thing. Did not get in on the group buy.

Kicking myself because my transmission was out of the car this whole time! If I had not been lazy and diagnosed it in June I could have been right in on this.

I have a set in the trans that is going in the car tonight! If all goes well, it's going down the track next weekend.

Just some feedback for those thinking about the pads...I did three pads on the 1/2 and 3/4 forks when I had the trans apart for another repair. It shifts great. Thanks for making them Adam.

Oh! Wow...now I feel dumb. Guess I need to read. I'll be contacting you soon. I hate to spend money when I know I need to use it for other things, but I don't want to miss out on this.

Re: 91+ A568 bronze shift fork pads

I have had mine going now for a couple thousand miles of daily driving in moderate to heavy traffic, so lots of shifting going on. So far its been going well. If the shifter housing wasnt such a PITA to remove & reseal I'd take mine off right now and give an update on how things are holding up but I have a good feeling all is well. I do have a drain plug and have drained it a few times to check for excessive metal flake and havnt seen any.

Re: 91+ A568 bronze shift fork pads

Still rocking solid. Pulled the shifter housing to inspect and drain the oil to switch back to 5w30 for the warmer weather. Only see the front 3-4 fork pad but even it looks excellent, not noticeably worn/grooved. Oil was clean and not full of golden glitter so I'd be safe to assume the rest are still doing just as well.

Some doubt as to how well they would withstand daily usage yes... Car makers dont test something once on a 1/4 mile track and call it proven.
