    My Daytona R/T for a Spirit R/T

    Selling or Wanted Price: Want a Spirit

    Description:Simple as that. I want a Spirit but can't find one. I recently aquired the Daytona, and love it, but I had a 91 Spirit and liked it more. If I can't find one I'll most likely buy the orange one Cindy has but I'd prefer to trade for something a little less over the top.

    The Iroc R/T is all stock except for an adjustable boost regulator. It has a Cometic head gasket. The turbo spool perfectly at 15psi and the car is a daily driver. It was to be painted this week but weather has put a hault on that. No rust, no leaks. Needs nothing but paint. Its at 115k, going up since I drive it often. I do like the car. Good oil pressure, lifter tap like all T3s have. Trans is good, clutch is good, all linkages are perfect. No cracked glass. Windows are slow.

    I do not want to sell it. I want to trade it. If I sell it then I will need enough to buy a nice Spirit the same day. I won't sell without a Spirit immediately available. I have no problem keeping it and buying a Spirit so if you have one to sell, I'll consider just buying it. If we trade, I am willing to add some for a very nice Spirit. I will trade for a car that needs work but you will have to add some. I'm willing to drive the Daytona anywhere in the US for the right Spirit.I went about 5 years without a TIII, I won't do that again.

    Well, what's wrong with it? I might be interested in it. I very fluent with these cars so chances are its something I've done before(while working at FWD for Cindy I pretty much disassembled entire cars to save what we could and scrap the rest. Also did quite a few rebuilds, but mostly because I couldn't keep my junk together). I'd also take a TIII swapped car. Shadow, van, Charger, etc. I've LOVE a TIII wagon or convertible.

    Would you consider an 8 valve Spirit? 188k. Rebuilt garrett turbo (7k), rebuilt head (1k), 2.5in exhaust, FMIC, newer rod and main bearings (20k) clutch has 20-30k. Interior 7/10. Body's 7/10. Rust is 8/10. All the typical 8valve mods. (stage 3, +20%s, walbro, 2.5in exhaust, RFL, AC delete) Needs TLC but is more new than old and I daily drive it with relative dependability.

    Well I might be interested but I do want to find a TIII Spirit before I trade the Iroc. Shoot me some pictures.

    I think the first TIII van is for sale, check with guyd_15.
