Got mine in, just in time. Not sure what I'm bringing this year, will pick from what runs best at the time. Right now it's looking like either turbovan, shadow, spirit R/T or Shelby Charger.

I emailed them about registering my van since its the year of the truck and van and got an email right back from Jim wanting info and pics said he was really interested in my van. Took some shots and emailed him and never heard anything back. Last year they didn't even wanna let me in to the fun field had to go in and talk to someone to be allowed in and after not hearing back from them this year its left a bad taste in my mouth. Guess I know how all the fwd turbo dodge racers feel now that want a class to compete in, they just don't care.

Ouch... We're hoping to change taht but it may take time.

Step one is we're working to get a drag class at Monster Mopar in Indy in September.. if we can get that going, othe rbig shows will hopefully take note

JT, any idea what class we would run in? It appears that super-pro is it but wanted to check. I am hoping to bring the BSX out to see what she'll do against the rwd guys.

With your ET's you've only got one choice for Super Pro. That kinda sucks cuz it allows delay boxes in that class. Usually the bump for the Q8 door cars (they do Q16, 8 dragster, 8 door) is mid 8's or quicker.

I have run in Pro but this year pre-registered for "stick shift" class which i no longer see on theor schedule... hmmm... hope to get the registration packet in the mail soon, so we'll see about that.

Mopar Nats is a good time an dwould love you see you abuse soem RWD guys!

Are you also planning to attend Monster Mopar in indy in September? ... I'm still working of a "Mini Moapr Pro" class for us there!

Yeah, sometimes they can be kinda harsh on the FWD people, but as JT said... trying to work to change that some. Step one is to get participation! Events love numbers...

I think the best way to get them to make a class for the front wheel drive cars is to saturate the rest of their classes with our cars. I will be running stick class.

Not sure if that strategy would work, but either way, not eough late model cars show up to the Nats anyways...

Awsome Where is the Sheraton? Decent rates? I think ours is ~$65/night

Not sure where in Columbus looks like about 19 miles from the track. I missed the rate they had for the Nats so I got the room for $107 a night. Not too bad considering I booked it last minute.

Gotcha. You are a bit closer to the track than us. I'm pretty sure the Best Western still has rooms available if you wanted to trade room cost for distance.
