    missing some stuff.

hey folks. just wondered if i misplaced anything and you may have found it.

i had 2 flashlights come up missing during SDAC 22.

an olive green anodized light with a CREE XM-L Neutral white led and a AW 18650 black battery in it. it says XinTD on the label.

also a black Ultrafire 504-B light with another XM-L Warm White led (looks like incandescent) and a green panasonic 18650 cell wrapped in clear shrink wrap.

the XinTD light was in a black ultrafire holster.

i didnt think i left them laying around or in anyones car while messing around with computers and stuff. last i remember seeing them was in my hotel room. i sure hope the hotel staff didnt not walk off with them while cleaning.

as a flashaholic i have plenty more but its a bummer though. those were two of my favorites.

    Thanks

    Brian

    Re: missing some stuff.

Phone the hotel, if you didn't already, then phone them again in a day or two... they won't admit it, but often they leave rooms dirty a day or two if they don't need them and then only call in the extra houskeeping staff before the weekend, like today. Plus things that shape roll off the back of the bed and end up against the wall, where they're hard to see and hard to reach... so they might not actually turn it up for a while even if the room gets cleaned every day...

Oh yes those things are great for emergency lights. I'm collecting them to have one in each car and one in each of the kids rooms. Plenty bright.

those things arent bright at all lol. i have enough insane lights to cover the entire house and cars and wife and cats lol. plus theyll last all week on low and light the room full bright when bounced off the ceiling.

that doesnt stop me from getting the free light every time i go to HF though lol.

    Well thats good.

I was gonna say, if they didnt steal my flip hd the 235892592015 times they had the chance id say the lights probably would have had a chance at freedom lol. They felt free to take the money we had sitting out though. Bad idea.

    Re: missing some stuff.

Well leaving a few bucks in change sitting out is the usual method of tipping the housecleaning staff, so...
