Has anyone ordered a Real header yet? (aka. EQ length tube header) Or are they all logs? Would be interested to see some Real headers being built! (and No, this is Not a hack on your logs, they look fine, just curious about the real deal)

We will be, just have to get the log and intake orders done first. We will be making 3 TIII TS headers in the next month or, Shayne will have to show me as I need one for the van and have 2 presold.

Wondering what the TIII header will be like? Sounds neat, but not sure if it's for me if I gotta clearance firewall, not have power steering, etc.. it would probably go into an L-body if I got one.

i dont know if the firewall to block clearance is tighter for an l-body, but the header will be built to be as drop in as possible, no removing the ps pump, or pushing in the firewall. one thing is though you wont see much of the header as it leaves the head and goes down then back up under the turbo, tried a ramhorn style going up then back down to the turbo in simons van and it put too much heat into the upper cowl area where wiring and other bits are for most folks.

hey shane ask simmon if he still has those pics i sent him of my header i made. your welcome to try and recreate that as its a equal length (within an inch) pulse correct long tube header.
it retains powersteering and clears for 3" exhaust. But for sure there is noway it'll fit in an L-body. good luck with those platforms.. man those are a small compartment. My set-up is basically set up for me but I'm sure you can grasp what i did and modify it a little here and there and make it a little more user freindly

will do!, i think i actually might have pics of the header too somewhere. i'll be curious to take measurements from an l-body, simon has a old charger at his shop that i could use for what i'd need to check, i assume the omni and charger have the same engine bay.

I don't see why not, SRT engines fit in the L body with big turbo's with no firewall mods. The HE351 also fits 8 valve L body's with no firewall mods.

I made one for someone on the board back 7-8 months ago, but I'm not sure if it's made it out on here yet. They're tough to do nicely and still fit the budget that most guys are going to want to spend.

Oh that was the one on my dyno/street mule Daytona! That really was from scraps! I made the collector as well since I was on the cheap and needed the space.

The one I was talking about wasn't on the cheap and wasn't from scraps.
