Need a T2 wiring harness for an 1988 Lebaron convertible. Needs to be out of an 88 because I tried a harness from an 89 Lebaron and it did not work.

bump for possible luck`
Is there something wrong with your 88 harness? There never was such a thing as an 88 TII Lebaron harness, and the 88 harness is one of the easiest to modify to make it just like a TII.

Could you elaborate on why the '89 harness didn't work?
Have one from an '88 Daytona Shelby Z (should be the same). PM me if you're interested.
The biggest difference I can think of between the 88 and 89 harnesses is the alternator harness is different.

I've never had to modify the harness when changing from one style alternator to another.
Sorry I meant the connector on the harness is different with the 88 being round

Ah, gotcha.
Add some wires and an air charge temperature conector to the 88TI to make it a 89TII in 30 minutes.
Here is a link to the TII 88 Lebaron vacuum diagram http://minimopar.knizefamily.net/images/vac-t2-88.jpg
I have added the charge air temp sensor. The problem with my harness is it as 38 but splices, and some wires just twisted together. Looks like crap.
The bulk head connectors between 88 and 89 the wiring does not exactly match up.

There were 88 TII cars, Daytona Shelby Z, and the Lancer Shelby. However the TII engine was not an option in the 2 door J body Lebaron until 1989.
