    Think I need EGR valve for '85 Dodge 600ES conv, "Power Loss" light comes on

    Last year I purchased a50K mile 600ES conv that is a really nice car and runs great. When it gets warmed up good, the Power Loss light comes on. The cars seems to run just as well and I have noticed no difference in performance, but I want to be sure I am not damaging the car if I continue to drive it with light on. The shop said that the code shows a bad EGR valve but that they cannot find one for it. It looks like the Chrysler part is 4287756, does anyone have any idea where I might get a hold of one? Any thoughts on whether something else might get me running without the Power Loss light coming on.

    Just make sure its not hooked up vacuum wise, its not leaking and leave the solenoid hooked up.
