I have a 86 NY turbo that I swapped to 87 T2 electronics and 33pph injectors. Will this throw the traveler off?
Thanks

Unless you rescale the traveler constant in the cal it will throw it off.
ETA: I missed that you swapped to the proper cal for the injectors so you'll be fine.
is the traveller run from a bcm or the ecm? if the ECM then it should be good because T2 is 33/34lbhr anyway. If bcm it will be off 19% or so. My spirit with +40s and a turbonator T3 cal would read 40 percent higher.

So since I am using a 87 T2 MP ECU it should be working fine?
Crazy... the traveler is showing a average of 30.2mpg. Pretty good for unaerodynamic auto car. But this tanks been mostly freeway. I guess I will find out how close it really is when I fill it up.
I had the impression that up to a a few years ago, no-one was bothering to set the traveller constant right.... but 30mpg sounds doable, if it was reading 40 in an auto something would definitely be up. Checking with the fillup is the best idea though.

The mpg scale in Rob's files are off.
The mpg scale in Chem2 is almost dead on.
Did he not have that fixed last year? <--- that's my thinking face.... can't remember/keep up with cal changes/details.

Checked it when I filled up. Right on 30mpg!!! I had it in my head it was getting 23. Its going to get driven ALOT more now
are you sure your odo is right? seems like awefully good mileage for a automatic New yorker.
My 2-button navigator shows I'm getting 77mpg
Seemed high to me jay, but that's what the math and traveller say. A state patrol officer informed me my speedo is 2mph over on Saturday so its pretty close.
The speedo on my daytona is dead nuts, but the ODO turns 10% slow. My New Yorker speedo reads 1-2MPH over but the ODO is about 3% under. But agreed should be pretty close. lucky to be you. Mine only get's 22-23
Well I got thinking, Im still running stock sized narrow tires, stock exhaust, T2 covnversion, and non-ethanol gas. Ive also been driving ALOT of freeway miles. Maybe thats why it is up... But either way I am not going to complain.
Scaling got me close, but I still had to hand-tweak the constant on mine a bit. A few tanks in the same spot at the same gas station gave me the actual mileage that I could compare to the nav and calculate the error.
