Carlisle 2012 Check-In

yea, it was hot, I walked right past the new Viper and didn't know it, I did see Ralph Giles walking around, never did get a chance to talk to him about the new Dart. I thought the turnout of Turbo cars was very good, don't know the total count but was more than I was expecting.

Was the first time at Carlisle for me, had a good time and thought it was a decent turnout for as hot as it was. I spent most of the day Friday wandering through the swap meet, and hung out in the car show area on Saturday. Met a few new people, saw a lot of nice cars and old friends. Hoping I can get the time next year to bring a car out and set up a better SDAC display at the tent on the show-field.

Hopefully I can enter a car next year. I was hanging out with my friends that brought two 84 600's most of the time, but it was a good time as always.

Thanks to all for a great time at Carlisle, we definitely had to beat the (105 Saturday) heat! Was good to see some long lost friends and make new ones. Didn't get to talk to everyone. I appreciate all everyone did to make the weekend a success. From the car show to the picnic, it was all good. Congrats to our members taking home the show hardware! I understand that family committments, heat issues, etc. kept some of our friends from making the picnic. We still had a fair turnout, good food and drinks, the annual showing of "The Wraith", and Forza 4 projected up to 12' size. Special thanks to those that contributed a little more in terms of food and assistance to the success of the weekend. Was great to see Dave and the other Chicago friends at the show, and hopefully we can grow the club presence in the future.
