So, planing the rewiring of the 86 GLHS. I know that to take it to the 87 wiring to run that LM is not too hard. BUT!!!! should I go father and up in years(newer) and if so, what year should I go to/

I believe the electronics get much better on the newer stuff like after 1990. I have a 90' mini harness and the 90' FSM if you are interested in them. I also have a known good 5 speed SBEC out of my old 90' mini.
PM'd you. (started last night) got to find out now why i'm getting a volt drop on the car. bounces from 14 to 11 1/2ish on and off. under load, not under load but i cand hear/feel when it jumps back to 14 v like it should hold at. HMMMMMMM?
