    MOPAR headgasket part number

    OEM part number for the T3? anyone?

    I just checked my dealer for that, they said, NLA,
    1989 FWD Turbo Caravan-2.5 TIII, GT35R, auto, a/c, cruise, pwr windows/locks, fully loaded with interior and ran with full exhaust. RETIRED FOR A FEW YEARS! 12.57@104 :O)
    1984 Chev Getaway van, 6.2 Diesel with a remote mounted turbo setup burning WMO-For sale.
    2003 GSW 2.0L TDI, auto, fully loaded, modified, 360K-wife's.

    Fron what I understand the 005's are still being used just under a superceded number

    Dodge has a stock type head gasket that is 3 times the price and its very similiar. In other threads, they say the 005 is on infinite back order IIRC.

    Been NS1 for about a year. I think you can cut a 2.5 gasket to match the TIII. I could be wrong though.

    I did it all the time, I'd cut out the 005 on my TIII, it was cheaper that way,

    005s are pretty much not coming back from what my friend at the chrysler dealer said.

    I have a stock T-III HG in new condition if you really need one, Bill. It was on a rebuilt motor I bought, but never fired up. Judging the builder's technique, I believe it was under-torqued, too...

    4424060 original # changed to 5013602AA

    status: cancelled,NS1,no longer available,gone or NFG in dealerspeak (NO F...... Good)

    I have 15 of them NOS 98.00 each plus shipping

    MSRP listed price in the US is $40, online discounting dealerships list it for $28. The part number is 5281065 and just from all the pictures posted here it is the same exact gasket, it just has the different p/n.

    Locally, $65 my cost plus tax, I could get the 005's for $25 locally,

    You have a US mailing address dont you ? order some from a dealer in the states.

    pretty pathetic..... after spending countless bucks to get this thing up and running, and i cant even get a F%$@#$ headgasket for these piece of ---- cars. even the 8v motors.

    You could try calling the Mopar Techline 1-888-528-4364 and ask them if they would re-release the p/n ? Never know they might actually be able to give you an answer or find one somewhere.
