    Glht rich at idle

Hi Guys, been working hard on my GLHT for summer. Replaced head gasket, new tu60 turbo, deleted egr and got custom elbow made,
spearco T1 intercooler setup. Installed wideband about 28" from turbo, at idle the wideband starts at 14.7 and then consistently
keeps dropping and after about 3 minutes as the engine warms and idle lowers it reads 10 on the wideband. Using stock injectors .
Changed FPR with same results. Car has an MP logic module. I'm worried im washing the cylinders with fuel at idle. Any Ideas?
My other concern is I get a consistent code 23 for the air charge sensor, replaced it, changed the pigtail and wiring and it goes away and
then comes on again. Any ideas on this? Thanks for your help.

    Re: Glht rich at idle

So my car is still running unbelievably rich I purchased an afpr and backed the pressure at idle down to 25 and still was a bit rich... Obviously I can't drive it like that cause I'll melt all my pistons. My injectors are regular tII injectors. Are they the same as my glhs logic module should want? I had a wideband hooked up and it read 11.3 at wot this makes no sense at all oMe please help me out my car has a g head motor in it but that shouldn't cause it to run this rich. My logic module is a mp stage 2 glhs Is there something that could cause this? I changed out the baro and the map and checked all of the lines to it?!!!!!That's my issuer man I don't wanna jack but I want to be here when a solution is found

Are the rings new? What happens if you put the stock computer back in? What's your fuel pressure? Grounds all good?

Dony, you won't melt things running rich, you don't have a diesel.

What's wrong with 11.3 at WOT? That's perfect.

Never said I would melt things running rich I said I will melt pistons with my fuel pressure halved yes 11.3 is perfect but that's only at wot my car only runs good in boost in vacuum it runs like crap!

Why would you melt the engine running lower fuel pressure? If the AF reading are fine then unless you detonate, you won't melt. If your lean at part throttle then yeah, you can do some damage.

You'll have to play with the fuel pressure and find out. You shouldn't be that out of whack with a stockish setup and a stage II computer.
