Yes, three woodgrain machines in that picture. One of them has been sold, the other will be once it's fixed, and one is MINE.
As for that Aries coupe, I still want that car man! I need a stick shift one.

Friend of mine had a carfax report left over and ran it on my turbo New Yorker. Oddly enough, it's originally from New York. Made it's way to Indiana in 2007 with 14,000 miles on, got driven around 9500 miles in a year, and then went back to sitting dormant. I got it this summer and it was apparent the car was not driven in a long time haha.
The 1984 Plymouth Reliant wagon is going to a new home now haha. This younger guy who's always been intrigued with my collection of these things really wants to fix the old girl up so he's buying it from me. Glad to see another one staying on the road instead of where it was originally going to go...
On that note, the gold 85 LeBaron is up and running again too! Just have to put in a new themostat and it'll be all set and ready to hit the streets. After that's done, just the black 85 LeBaron is left to be fixed up and sold... then I can FINALLY start working on my own cars again hahaha.
There she is... all ready to go! Runs out pretty well and drives super nice. At the end of the month I'll be listing her for sale so hopefully she gets a good home!
I've had over 60 or more of those things... that's a lot of K's to say hahahahaha
Guess that makes the owner the B!#@H.....oops, did I say that....LOLK-cars gangbang style.
that's why my 86 Aries LE wagon is going 568/523 hybrid as part of the resto-mod work. picked up an 88 parts car for the K specific conversion pieces including the mini 5spd console (hate the full console in these cars...butt ugly). and also secured a pair of correct cloth buckets to match my car (yes, my car is the cream on tan that everyone else hates, but i love it).I need a stick shift one.
I have a creme colored Reliant right now and I can't stand that nasty color... going to be fixing and selling it too, hopefully in time for tax season. Whittling it down to just having three of the buggers for a while... the New Yorker, the 400, and the 84 Aries wagon.
Wow. That's intense man lol. And here I was thinking my 89 reliant with 92k on it was cool.
Yah, he's like that kid at school, when you go in all excited "Hey guys, I got a 'mote controlled helicopter.." and that kid goes "I've got six, one of them fires nerf darts." ....

I like 3.0s ... so??? ... stop looking at me like I've got two heads!
IMO ANY color is a million times better than red!!!....i HATE red (crimson and maroon are ok, but bright red sucks @$$). THAT is a nasty color! cream is certainly a girly color, but i wouldn't call it nasty. it's a good summer color. most of the colors on these cars were clean, but boring. the color was the inspiration for the name of my car...she has been called Ginger for more than 20 years. and the color is bright enough to make her stand out in the crowd without being in your face.I have a creme colored Reliant right now and I can't stand that nasty color
Check this awesomeness out...
This is for my New Yorker. Brand new VIP package!
Spiffy!

Thanks! A friend of mine found that online and sent me a link to it. Should have the New Yorker all cleaned up nice for the Belvidere show this year I'm hoping! The one time a year the car gets driven hahaha.
Well, the black LeBaron is now down near the Quad Cities in it's new home. Found a sad 88 Aries sedan on craigslist... had to save it from getting scrapped so I brought it home and am giving it some TLC to make it a good road worthy machine again. Even after sitting untouched for almost two years, threw a battery in it and it started right up and made the hour drive back to my house with no real issues!
And the K cars keep coming and going haha. Gold LeBaron sold a long while back now. The 88 was sold to an old friend of mine who needed a cheap set of wheels. The 84 Reliant wagon made it's way up to Milwaukee and now it's listed for sale by it's new owner haha. My 86 cream/nasty colored Reliant sold to a friend of mine who wanted a project car. Then there was an 89 I picked up from the 2nd owner and my brother was quick to pick that up off of me since he sold his Infiniti I30 or whatever it was. It's been providing him with nice reliable service. So K-car wise that now leaves me with my New Yorker, Aries wagon, and 400... and a J body 87 LeBaron turbo coupe that needs a LOT of help.
Belvidere Mopar Happening was last weekend! Here's Team Aenoy, representing the K car. From left to right is my 400 convertible, my brother's 89 Aries sedan, Justin's 88 Aries sedan, and my 85 New Yorker turbo.
And... my daughter sitting in Justin's super clean 88 Aries. She loves beeping the horn haha.
Trying to find a new shop space too. Hoping to have that nailed down soon because as soon as that's all set up I'm picking up TWO 84-85 New Yorkers for partout purposes! So once I get those here, we'll assess the damage and see what's good and what isn't. One is a turbo car, the other is a 2.6 car without it's engine. The 2.6 car may live again but the turbo car was rear ended so it's no longer a usable vehicle for the road.
Good to hear someone is saving these cars,I just hope when they get sold they go to good homes.Personally,Im never selling my 88 wagon.
New Yorker's gone. Need a furnace for my house since keeping my kid warm is much more important than paying to store a car I never drive.
Instead though, I got a sweet new whip. 88 LeBaron TBI sedan! It's not in the best of shape, but it's only got 71K on the clock and it was CHEAP. Drives super nice too so it'll enjoy being my secondary transportation.
