    clutch disc thickness

How thick is a new clutch disc? Is there a minimum thickness limit like a brake rotor? Doing an engine swap and trying to determine if I should replace the clutch or not. It looks like there is 1-1.5mm of material above the rivits. It wasn't slipping, the flywheel and PP look good and the throwout bearing is smooth. I really don't want to spend the money unless it is necessary.

Sounds like it's still good. If memory serves most start out life around .320" thick. Although I've measured some (Spec) that were .360.

I usually look at how much of the grooves are left, if they are almost gone then I replace it. Post up a pic.
