This isn't much of a project thread as the car runs an drive. Just keeping up with the progress and improvement I made to it.
Carroll Shelby inspired car. GLH stands for Goes Like Hell.
Goal for this car is for it to be a nice comfortable daily driver with a/c and somewhat good gas mileage. Looks isn't an requirement. It weights 2500lbs with a driver, ran a best of 14.5 at 97mph at only 12 psi. The setup should be good for around 24 psi with pump gas. 2.5L with a T04E 50 trim and Cosworth .48 turbine housing. Positive boost pressure comes in around 1700rpm, spool faster than my 850 with a 15G!
Reason why the intercooler is in the front is due to I want to have a/c. There is just no space inside the engine compartment for an intercooler, with the a/c condenser. And yes, I got many questions regarding to what it is, and lots of stares.
Not going to paint the intercooler black, nor make grille for it. No point, paint on the rest of the car looks like crap anyways. Beside, the intercooler sticks too far out. Rare deals can always be seen on the Kroger Weekly Ad.
