I retarded the stock TBI cam 6 degrees in my turbo'd-TBI engine in my minivan and was shifting out of first at ~6100-6200 and shifting out of other gears around 5800. According to my trap and weight i made pretty much all the power the mitsu was capable of while shifting an otherwise stock 2.5 setup near the rev limiter.

It has got me excited to try a 2.5 with a better intake and turbo with the cam retard and see if i might want to RAISE the rev limiter.

My experience with stock-cam-timing 2.5 was the same as y'alls.
