    Re: Chrysler TC 16valve

    Gentlemen,

As you've read, I have never heard this car run. I bought it planning on fixing it up and enjoying it. Since reading some posts and getting bombarded with emails, i have a feeling the engine may be used as a donor for the price I was asking. Cars is too nice to be disassembled. So I'm going to replace the starter and work on the calipers and see how it runs. I want to make sure the odometer is correct and it's actually 55,000 mile car. Plus I wouldn't feel right if I sold it and the head was bad. It was never my intention to keep it after I got it running. I'll keep you posted on the repairs.

Yeah, it would be a damn shame if someone parted it out...

Odometers are infamous for not working on the TC'c & Daytona's. Good luck with the repair.
I have entire rear brakes off another identical 16V TC if you need some. E-brake spring/set screw is functional on mine.

I imagine 91978 is too far away, or is it.

I'd buy it when its back for sale, just to show Alan how one should look.

This is good news for me, because I have always wanted one, it is not too far for me or from me, the timing is not right for me to afford another collector car. but =)

I would have bought it and not parted it. Spend anytime driving a TC and you'll love them. Besides the fact building a Masi engine today is nuts for a 16v when the SRT 4/ PT GT engine is so cheap and easy..... This car is too nice to be parted...
