Electronic clutch cycle switch (ambient air temp sensor @ evaporator?)

Cannot find any replacements or what we would call this part when looking for a replacement. Only thing I found was http://www.autopartsway.com/Part.cfm?36677/FS
And a 2 wire sensor on Rockauto when I need 3 wires. Picture might be a stocking picture.

I had to pull the a/c switch wire from my ecu today because its been constantly demanding a/c (meaning radiator fan turns on after about 8 seconds) and commanding higher idle. I have had the belt removed after tearing apart the motor. Didn't feel like putting it back on when it never got warm enough to need it last summer.

Not really sure how the system works based on the wiring diagram. I have a 1992 FSM but car is 1994 (r134). I figure its the same because all the wires are the same color.
My guess is that 12v from the climate control switch feeds through the a/c switch to the Electronic clutch cycle switch on the evaporator and then to the high pressure switch and then the low pressure switch (all in series) which then leads to the ECU. I am not quite certain the 1994 works that way even though the wire colors match up. Pulling one sensor should kill the whole circuit but it seems that is only the case when I pull the high pressure switch and not the low pressure switch. Crazy.

Old post but did you ever figure it out?

I am planning my GLHS AC system and I am using newer AC lines so I don't have the original lbody capilary tube AC lines.

I want to convert it to the evaporator mounted switch (hoping for just a switch rather than a sensor like the neon uses) so I don't have to play around with the sensor in megasquirt.

Did some more research, it looks like 1995 Caravan/Intrepid/Concordes, etc also used them.

The Neons are also similar but have a big gromet on them and possibly a different connector.
