    Wanted: Front sway bar

Looking for a front sway bar (1.25") for my '89 J body Lebaron. My original one is rusted so bad where the bushings were that it's unusable. Thanks.
Shipping is to Felton, Delaware 19943

Thanks Johnny, but I should have been more specific. I'm looking for a OEM sway bar.

Nah, it's not like that. The rust actually ate away the metal where the bushings were, so the diameter is not the same as the rest of the bar, if you know what I mean. The bar was actually loose and flopping around inside of the bushings. I wish I had a picture to better describe.
I just need another sway bar.

Thats normal. The bars are cast and soft, the bushings deform it.

It's probably not the same diameter. Not many came with the 1 1/4" sway bars. Not sure why mine did, but seems to have some optional suspension package or something.

The sway bars were optional. I've seen lots of non-GTC Lebarons with big sway bars. Maybe it was the extra front end weight?

Sounds logical. Mines a loaded convertible, so you know it's a porker.

    Re: Wanted: Front sway bar

A friend and forum member has a 91 Lebaron GTC vert. He brought it over and I placed a jack under it where I jack up all the other TD's on the frame rail just enough to get a jack stand in front of, The front didn't come off the ground until the rear was 8" in the air. I did not like working under it. I've never seen a car biased so front heavy. Even my GLHT doesn't do that.

FYI I put a 1.25" sway bar in my 86 Daytona from a 89 Daytona Shelby. That bar is narrower (1.125") where all the bushing go, the bar that came from my 86 Daytona is narrower only at the ends.

That should work in my Lebaron. Can you give a total including shipping? It's to 19943.

I'll take it to USP on monday for shipping costs. I think I can just tag it rather then put it in a box.
