Here is the Slip and vid. I feel like my van really pulls hard in first gear and then kind of "dies off" in 2nd and third. I feel like with my setup i should be trapping a higher MPH.
Another confusing thing was that I threw in an additional 200 lbs (aka my brother and the bench seat) and the van still went 14.84@89. I know part of it can be my Gear ratio, i only shift into third right before the 1000' mark.

For the 14.73 run i weighed in at 3205 with me in it, and i weigh 210.

Am i dropping off in power? (I don't know what to look for in the time slip) Or am i just not making any power? Either way, what can i do BESIDES upping the boost can i do for more power? Can i check for anything that may be wrong?

EDIT: I just noticed I am the only one on the Turbo-mopar times page that is in the 14s with an 89 MPH everyone else is in the 90s.

You have a pig van with a flat front end, I and others have trapped mid 104 mph running mid 12's.

Your setup is bang on for the times, I ran a 14.1@95 mph at 23 psi with a TIII turbo maxed out on my 8 valve.

You need more boost, better intake and more patience-the last one I am guilty of not having.

The one piece really chokes up the top end on a 2.5L.

You also don't have the best G head either, the exhaust ports are horrible.

Probably just because you are so heavy. My t2 daytona running 14 psi trapped about 92 with an auto. It also felt like it was running out of steam at the top of 2nd and third.

Ghead eh..whats your base timing at? Second and third should be solid gears, with his weight wouldnt he be huffing in fourth generally....if your timing is 12deg thats why it feels weak..

Base aka distributor timing is set at 12 but i have added more than 10 degrees of timing over a swirl cal to my cal. I prob can add a bit more but it is pretty close. And in my auto i don't have a 4th gear, i don't shift out of first until 50 MPH lol.

Your gearing isn't helping. Do you know what you have? Tire size? What's your stall?

26" tire, makes sense why your barely hitting 3rd. Those will help when you make more power, alot more, lol. Try to find a 23 or 24" tire.

I was able to run +35 degrees spark advance on my 2.5 G head setup, until 5 psi boost, then it started to taper off about 2 degrees for each 1 psi boost......
sounds like you could use some more timing!!!

Gads.. that gearing is murder with those 26" tires. I bet you would pick up a few tenths with shorter tires.

I guess you are shifting about 5500? I was going to make a comment about you shifting way too high until i saw your tire diameter. lol.

14s on 89 is pretty good. My 3.0 dynasty trapped 88.5 and only went 15.2 on slicks. so you have like half a second better et with only marginally better mph, good job!

Dont push the red button. You hear me?
