Description: 1997 Plymouth Neon Expresso coupe SOHC: Kirk long tube header, 5 speed swap with 3.55 trans, Mad Dog short throw shifter with solid aluminum bushings on trans and shifter side, rear sway bar with poly bushings,, Hawk pads and newish rotors, DOHC computer, solid engine mounts with inserts on the side mount and welded front mount, new struts all around, new non-modular clutch and PP, Pioneer MP3/USB/iPod ready CD deck, Sony Xplod speakers, Modern Performance SRT shift knob, throttle body from automatic car, 3.0 cold air intake, 2nd gen Neon front seat, driver's window track replaced, TTI under-drive pulley, A/C and PS delete, 15x7 Pontiac Fiero wheels with Dunlop 205/55/15 tires, V6 Camaro dual outlet muffler and NO cat (due to long tube header)... Car will come with brand new lowering springs...250# front and 225# rear..2" drop. Also a brand new, never installed 2004 non-EGR Magnum head...bare head, no cam or valvetrain, set of brand new Fel-Pro valve stem seals. Car will also come with a turbo-fold, no turbo.
The car puff smoke a little if idling at a light for a bit and then take off....needs valve stem seals installed. I was/am waiting for the mag head to do this.
The car is pretty much rust free...there's a small spot under the hood but it's tiny and not through. The car is flat black....whoever did it did a crap job.
This car gets crazy gas mileage...highway cruising is a dream due to the long gears.
