    "Avarage Joe, in something slow!!"

so check this out... talking with JT over the weekend, primarily parking lot antics at 22, the idea has been brought up, and this year were looking into a mobile media unit.. I.E. the side of my white van .. ive got it set up for all sorts of audio and video and gaming getups, but we wont discuss all that now,.... but with a projector, and and Xbox... we started thinking.... here it is..

this is still in the works however, the concept is this...

    "Average Joe in something slow!!!"

everyone knows that the GLHS was released in Forza4 along with a very detailed and correct "Top Gear test track" (u see where im going with this)... if we can get a group big enough, we can dedicate a night to do our own round of "a big star in a small car"... you get 1 lap in a bone stock GLHS and record the time... we'll have a leader board, and all, just like the show... we were thinking of coming up with something as far as prizes, but that all still needs to be worked out... im just posting this up now to gauge interest to see if I should start putting some supplys together for this..

    what y'all think??

    thanks,
    Jaren

Oh great, another thing to put on the "If I get to go to SDAC" list, squeeze in a few hours of practice on Forza4 so I don't look like a complete bonehead
DD1: '02 T&C Ltd, 3.8 AWD. DD2: '15 Versa Note SV, replacing.. DDx: '14 Versa Note SV << freshly killded :( ....... Projects: '88 Voyager 3.0, Auto with shift kit, timing advance, walker sound FX muffler on 15" pumpers wrapped in 215/65/R15 H rated Nexens.... and a '95 phord escort wagon PnP head << Both may need to go :( ..... I like 3.0s ... so??? ... stop looking at me like I've got two heads!

I think this is an awesome idea! lol

I think you would also need to standardize game settings.

Manual trans, traction control off, ABS off, etc.

I wouldn't call a stock GLHS slow, we might have to enlist a N/A car.

Re: "Avarage Joe, in something slow!!"

Maybe get them on the GLHS club and put the car in the club garage so people that can't get to SDAC can join in too?

I'm down to bring a second console/game if need be. Maybe we could somehow setup a system link to go head to head?

No problem, Dave's the mastermind behind a lotta great ideas he doesn't have time to implement, which is kinda why we were taling about it... and thanks for stepping up to champion this I agree, we definitely have enough interest

I practiced last night. I suck. I kept getting lost on the track until I turned the line back on.

Mike you need to stay at the Forza Friday events longer or use the rivals events. Slow in Fast out hasn't been around all these years for nothing. Especially in a FWD car.
