    '93 Jeep 4.0 stock cal?

Not sure if this should go here or in other vehicles but here goes...
I've got a friend that mud races a 1993 Jeep Cherokee. I mentioned the possibility that I might be able to tune it using software I'm familiar with from messing with TMs (assuming that the ecu is some variation of the sbec). I was wondering if anybody has worked on any of the Jeep cals or knows where I could download a stock .bin to poke around in? Ideally I'd like to set him up with something similar to one of the 2 step rev limiter cals available for the TMs to see if it helps with his launches. He could also use some fuel tuning as he's running a 4.5l stroker motor on the stock 4l tune. If anybody could point me in the right direction to get started, I'd really appreciate it.
    Thanks in advance,

    Tony

I have several Jeep bins. But, I don't know which is which and never got very far disassembling it. Mostly because I haven't had time. Up to '95, the Jeeps used the same SBECII as the trucks and cars. Most of the Jeeps did NOT have a flashable computer, though.

Thanks for the reply Rob! So have you given up on working on the disassembly or is it something you think you might get back to when you have the time? If there's anything I can do to help, let me know. I have a spare '93 Cherokee 4.0 auto ecu I was going to try to socket. I can probably extract the eprom intact and read the bin off of it but I wouldn't even know where to start with working on the disassembly myself. I wouldn't mind trying to learn though.
    Thanks,
    Tony

I have some locations mapped out. Just not near enough to tune with yet. I keep meaning to get back to it, especially since it appears at least slightly similar to the Neon FCC that I have mostly done...

Hey ShelGame.... Did you ever finish unpacking the ecu code? I know its a long shot but i am asking everyone i can find who seems to have an interest in this. I'm looking to set up base cals for a "pre turbo" stroked 4liter project im upgrading to a holley ecu. any info i am able to find will help.

    Thanks in advance,

    R/T.

Rob hasn't posted on here in a long time. I'm not sure if anyone else has worked on that at all. Hopefully someone may know of something and post up.
