    Head gasket?

My car is smoking on start-up, or should I say burning coolant, but only on startup. She's running kind of crappy too...

I'm pretty sure I blew the head gasket...which is fine. I've just never seen a blow head gasket only burn coolant on startup. Point being has anyone seen a slow seeping of coolant into the cylinders after shutdown? The block is o-ringed. I'm gonna pull the head this week anyways to replace it so the head gasket is not an issue, I just want some opinions...

did you put the new head on? The exhaust studs on the bottom of the head/manifold go into cooling jackets and can leak like a beitch. RTV the hell out of them! Just a thought.
