    Reverse Light Plug

As some of you may have seen, I am in need of a new plug for the reverse light in my Daytona. I saw rock auto has the plug that goes into the transmission case, but i didn't see where they have the connector.

I'd prefer one with some wire length so i can connect to my current harness....please post up what you have!!!

    TIA

    Mike

    Re: Reverse Light Plug

Anybody know if it's the same connector for auto and manual trans?

If so, Dorman S747, or Airtex 1p1277 should work for you.

I should mention this is for an a568 manual...i'll take a look at those and see if they look like they'd work.

overpriced but if nothing else comes through. Will give you plenty of wire to work with.

The reverse light switch & connector used on our transmissions is the same one new process used for quite a few years.

I'm pretty sure I have that plug with a few inches of wire in my tool box. I can check this afternoon when I get home if you still need one.

I believe the switch is a standard 1/4" spade and you may be able to pull out the terminals in the boot and push the wires thru before conecting new spade terminals. Doesn't matter what side the wire goes in.

It's so well hidden it couldn't matter for "correctness", so why not just grab 2 female spade connectors and add the wire you need and a connecotr if you really feel you must.
