I have a 1988 Plymouth Grand Voyager That i rebuilt the transmission in. I did not want to do anything to the valve body so i left it alone. I found the low reverse clutch was burned and the band was burned, also found the sprag clutch roller and springs were bad. I put all new seals and clutches, new sprag rollers and springs, checked out the pump. I put the trans back together and put it back in the van, filled it with oil and started it up. At first the trans went right into gear with no problem, then you had to rev the engine a little to get it into gear, now it wont drive at all. Fluid level it good. I need some ideas on what to check out. Thanks.
