When (under NHRA rules) do you need a rear disconnect switch for moving a battery? I understand moving it to the trunk requires a switch, but what about some less radical moves like if you
- Move the battery from one side of the car to the other (ie. mounting it on the passenger-side) do you need it?
- Mount the battery in the fender in front of the front wheels (ie. like a Stratus.)
- If mount it partially in the fender but the terminals are accessible from the engine bay?
Any of those possibilities require a remote disconnect?
Thanks
