I am looking for a short block or for the right price a long block, I prefer a 2.5L
I live in Groton CT and willing to travel a bit but not too far. I really want a CB, nothing with LW rods. I prefer to to be in good running condition. I am ready to pull a 2.2 turbo engine out of my parts car (88 Aries 2dr). it has a fresh HG and was running well just a couple months ago. all i have to do is pull the hood, hook up the engine hoist and disconnect the trans mount and it will come right out. not a CB but it is good to go. not sure if it is a T1 or T2 motor but it had the T2 induction on it along with the swap. i'll take $250 for the long block. i also have an 89 2.5 T1 motor that is complete. bottom end is locked up from sitting but should be good for a rebuild. $150 for it. maybe not the best deal out there, but i'm only about 3 hours from you and i'd rather put a few bucks back in the car project fund rather than scrap this stuff.
