Looking for a kit for my hy35. I see 2 vendors on ebay with a kit for about $45. I also see Gpop has one for $99. they look to be very similar in the parts supplied. Look for a local turbo or diesel shop. H1C kits list for around 26-45 on ebay, I bought a more complete genuine Holset kit from a local turbo/diesel shop and it was 52 bucks.
Cool, what other parts came in the holset kit that aren't included in the ones on ebay?
some of the ebay kits didn't have thrust bushing only journal bushings, others had all the bushings but didn't have new bracket/clamp pieces for the turbine housing or new bolts. The holset kit was everything but the parts that ride on either side of the thrust bushing. That was a H1D kit though. I think the HX kits have those, at least my HX 30 kit did.
what are you using the hx30 on?
Nothing at the moment, I was planning it for a 8v build but decided to go 2.4, I picked up a H1C for dirt cheap and rebuilt it.
