    Description: 87-88 type 555/520 hybrid w/3.50 final drive ratio. Unit is currently not assembled, if a potential buyer wishes to add an obx lsd that is why it is being held open.
    Transmission will come with new bearings, fork inserts, omni-potent chromoly bearing plate, new 5th gear snap rings, drain plug and differential pin retainers along with the new updated cross pin if not upgrading to an OBX.

    Need to relocate the camera but I will have a few pictures shortly to maybe, hopefully convince someone to take this thing. So I can clear the bench off and start on other backlogged projects.

    Bump...

    Same transmission is $1200+ from the vendors last I checked..
    and that is without the chromoly plate, drainplug and new circlips on 5th (I had these remade, nobody else has them or uses them in their servicings)

    An offer to lower the price. Lower to $650 and with that the original sealed ball bearing goes back into the unit. I flush the bearing out with brake cleaner and repack it with a special high temperature, high moly content grease. Side by side there is literally zero difference in the turning smoothness and end play. Saves me $50 and I'll pass the offer along.. Done this in my personal everyday driver and not had an issue with failure or noise.
