boost button switchable boost level using cruise control question

My omni doesn't have cruise so I can't just push a factory button to get the switchable boost to work. I have added a pin to the lm at the cruise on location, but I don't know if the cruise on button is what is supposed to operate the switchable boost or is it something else?
Also does the pin to the lm need power ( and how much) or is it a ground. I can add a switch but I don't want to fry the lm by doing this wrong.
    thanks

I use the cruise on button for the two step. It works. I just added a toggle switch to it and 12v.

I had that option on a cal from Boost Button. I never tried it but his instructions were that you would hold that cruise on button down to get the second level of boost. No idea on whether it's a high or low input, do you have a FSM to check the diagram?

It depends on how the cal was setup. I set yours up to use the Cruise on/off switch. So, you'll need to find that wire in the LM (add it if it's not already there) and switch it to 12v. 'On' should be high boost and 'off' should be low boost.

Re: boost button switchable boost level using cruise control question

    Thanks Rob
I was going to email you but I figured this might help anyone with one of your cals and no cruise. With 100 octane and water/meth, I get no knock, so I was thinking of trying a little more boost.
