No, it turned out to go to the airbag module connector. It was just a loop of yellow wire. Not sure why they sent the starter wire to the airbag connector, though. Maybe as a way to keep you from starting the car if the airbag is unplugged?

yeah i guess it is ,i heard couple times about no start condition after blown airbag , good thing you found it !
can you bypass the SRS module?? see when i did mine, i didnt have the air bag to contend with as i used the omni dash harness....dang i hope it works out for you Rob, all that time put into it...
Oh, the SRS stuff is all gone now. No issues there. I started the car last night. Everything is working now. Well, I still need to wire in the electric water pump and add a replay for it.
The yellow starter wire simply was looped in the SRS connector under the dash. It didn't even go over to the airbag module. I think they just did that for space, or it was an easy way to splice it, or maybe it's protection to keep you from unplugging the airbag, or maybe it was to make adding a remote starter easier. I really don't know. It would have been nice if they had documented it better. I did finally find the loop shown on the airbag wiring diagram. It's not on the starter wiring diagram, though.
ahhhhhh ok i see now... yeah wierd... well cool glad to hear it started, looking forward to seing it get down at Milan @ 22!
Minimum engine bay harness project was started last weekend...
