i have a 1986 dodge shelby charger for sale in schamburg, illinois. it is black with the silver stripe and i have to sell it as i have bought a new truck. the charger runs, but it would not be the most reliable for every day use. at the moment the car will only start with a jump so either the alternator or battery is bad. the car has a rollcage and from the drivers seats back it is gutted. no sound deadening or anything. there is a lot of rust all over the car... the passenger side floor pan for instance has a small hole in the footwell. the hatch is rusting at the lip and around both rear tire wells is rusting through... has the turbo 1 in it with a 525 trans... the bumper has a huge cut out for a front mount intercooler. the car also has 4 point racing harnesses for the driver and passengers seats. no a/c but heat works great. has sunroof as well. i love this car and wish i could fix it up, but i have no where to store it. it has served me well for 5 years now and its has given me a lot of fun times, but it has also annoyed me to all hell lol. i hope someone who enjoys these cars gets it because it deserves to be enjoyed by someone who knows what it is. i need to take pictures of the car in its current state so i will have those up some time soon. i am asking $1000 for it, but am certainly open to offers. my parents have stated that if i dont find a buyer soon it is getting junked and i really do not want that to happen to such a fun car! if anyone has any questions at all i am more than happy to answer them. again i will have pics up soon. i have older pics if anyone would like to see those. thanks much and i hope someone is interested!!!
