Is the poly bobble strut worth the $?

I have been debating purchasing the poly bobble strut from FWD-P or TU, but I'm not really sure if it will offer a benefit greater than the $60 cost. ANyone have experience with them. I mean, I guess if the motor is moving less than more power is making it to the ground, but is anything noticable.
How about shift feel on an A-555? I wish I had more shift accuracy when banging through the gears. Sometimes they are hit or miss.

its always better when the motor and trans moves around less. id say get it. i have a solid setup (not the poly bushings setup) and its beautiful. more vibration but no wheel hop even on street tires.

Making your own is pretty simple, GLHNSLHT2 gave me a link once with a list of parts and how to do it.

I have an auto in my van with MP front and right bushings, PB tranny bushing. Much better but the engine still moves like 6 inches under gas. I installed an Omni bobble strut-its pretty hard-solid rubber ends and the engine doesn't move now, a tad more vibration but it leaves the line harder and worth every drop of sweat to install. I am getting a PB unit soon.

I think I'm gonna get one eventually. I already have MP and PB mounts everywhere else. It vibrates a little, but not a daily driver so I could care less. Have to get a BOV first, it desperately needs that.

We have a poly bobble strut in a 91 Shadow America with a 555 tranny and we use to race the car all the time at the drag strip. Even thou the car was a TBI version with a 100 hp it did real well. On P205/50x15 cooper cobra street tires the car's best numbers were:

2.342
6.902
10.730 @ 64.65 1/8
13.979
16.942 @ 78.66 1/4

We did notice that it hooked allot better, it was adjustable, shifted great.
If you are serious we will be selling our bobble strut as the car got hit by a deer. I would take $45.00 shipped.
