Pueblo motorsports park, it was just resurfaced to nhra specs last year, no downhill, flat as a Korean girls -ss, I know altitude makes 0 difference, but I would love to see the top ten cars on that list run here............
Nice! The angle of the vid made it look so "downhill" that I had to say something. lol It almost doesn't look real (and I'm not saying it isn't here) the way you do almost no burnout and yet you have a great E.T. vs MPH. Track must Really hook! + your PTW ratio must be killer!

actually i got in the burnout box and started to brake boost and realized my boost controller was off(apexi profeb b)
so i had to unbuckle to turn it on for the launch, still did a 1.75 i did 1.70 later in the day with more of a burnout, it was only an 1/8 mile because of dust on track
How is that transmission holding up? Probably a lot better with the lack of weight.

trans has been perfect, I have broke two drivers side axles, both times I had on short drag radials and it wheel hopped with them and both times broke that side axle, I have fallen in love with the welded diff, will never change that part of the car
Sounds like it's not a big issue unless you're racing on DRs. It probably never hops the slicks at the track..trans has been perfect, I have broke two drivers side axles, both times I had on short drag radials and it wheel hopped with them and both times broke that side axle,
Dont push the red button. You hear me?
Are you gonna do anything with this car next year? That vr4 owner just flipped out when his wife wanted the garage and scrapped his car. Makes no sense to me. I posted:

^ lol, what an asshat. "I sold a completely disassembled car to a junkyard but i had NO IDEA it would immediately be sent through the crusher!" Nice job, dumbass.
Oh well, just another 3s owner with more dollars than sense. "Wife wanted one parking spot in a 2 car garage more than she wanted the 30,000$ i just spent on an evo". Could have built an entire 2nd garage for the cost of the Evo..Guessing she is not too bright either. Whatever.
Dont push the red button. You hear me?
I got 3 cars and they all up in yo street neighbors! Seriously.. from the pics looks like they live in an area where they had the room for another garage. He deserves getting laughed at by the dozer driver. wtf. Also damn taht evo is so much uglier than the vr4.
MinivanRider
Yea, he is different, the drivetrain minus engine was worked on by my buddies shop here, very respectable DSM shop, JACKS TRANSMISION, he spent a boatload of cash with them, Im sure he didn't get them money back out of it, the little Shadow really hurt his feelings I think...... I have a ported top end tbi header and 3071 turbo going on it now, we have been doing a lot of little to no prep street racing here lately, and the shadow does really good with my new 235-60-15 m&h bias ply tires on it, I purchased a rampage now that I am trying to get together also, but I had to part out a turbo/auto shadow vert and a 5 speed turbo van to make room, I had 12 vehicles for gods sake!
Damn.. was that the slammed white shadow vert?but I had to part out a turbo/auto shadow vert and a 5 speed turbo van

Wow...that 3Si guy isn't a bright one, is he?
So you must be running these tires...

Any reason for those tires vs others? Does your tire looking a certain way help get races?

Yes that's the ones, work really good @8-10 psi on the street, import website say run them on the widest wheel you can, mine came on pt steelies so that what I run, gonna switch to some 8 1/2 wide autodrags later. The car is pretty much in the top group of the cars that come out and actually race and everyone knows it and how little I have into it and don't want to lose to it, some weekends we get groups out of Denver, that's where my races come from.
So you are running 235/60's? Got any pics of them on the car? I would really like to see how that looks.
Ive got a couple of questions for ya. I cant seem to sell my T2 NY so Im going to follow the same recipe yoy are using more or less.
Have you ran the welded diff with normal street tires? You said you broke a axle with wheelhop on small DR's. How small? Are you still running PS? The tranny in my NY has seen better days so I am thinking of welding it because I know even if I don't like it, its not going to last forever anyways. On the subject of the tranny, what all have you done to yours?
Do you have any idea how the turbo you are running would compare to a Mitsu 20g? I have one sitting on the shelf and it fits into my low budget plan. Im also planning on a TBI header.
Are you still running +40's on E85? Ive got a set of those and a 2:1 RRR I made years ago for another project. Im thinking of running that with the 40's for enough fuel. My math says it will work but am unsure. How much power did you gain with the E85? Any idea how much it raised your knock threshold? How much boost/timing are you able to get away with?
Thanks for any help with my project . We have a local event here called "race wars". The name is dumb, but its a really cool event where a airstrip is rented out for heads up racing. It has turned into a huge event, and the fast cars really come out of the woodwork. I figure to even compete I need to be in the 12's. But if I can make it happen, whooping up on some fast imports with a poop brown NY is gonna be a lot of fun!
