    HELP!!! oil restrictor

    ok i just figured out why the daytona has no oil pressure. NO BLOCK OIL RESTRICTOR, i guess the machine shop left it out? i have a pair of spare commonblocks with the restrictor but cant figure out how to remove it. is this a universal piece that autostoned might have? does anyone know how to get the f&^%$r out of there? it just presses in right? im starting to get light knock and dont wanna drive it anywhere. HELP!

    I use a long screw, thread it in and use pliers to remove it. Yes, simple press in.

    Thanks ken, do you think i could pull the head up enough to pop it in without disconnecting the DP?

    hey ken, or anyone who knows. is there a step this thing rests on? or is it held in by friction only? i believe ive found a good way to improvise one but i need to be sure it wont fall down into the oil pan

    ok folks, i couldnt get the restrictor out so i found something better a spent 9mm casing is almost exactly the right size for the hole. drilled the bottom to match one of the stuck ones and she's ready to go in pics later

    only took about five years



    pulled the topend for the lebaron T2 conversion and remembered all about this think i'll keep it as a good luck charm
