91 lebaron gtc 3.0l v6 5 speed manual w turbo

I have a lebaron 91 gtc 3.0l v6 but i want to put turbo on it any suggestions or ideas???

you will need custom exhaust manifold for the turbo. go to kmperformance.com to see the options

youl need larger injectors, walbro 255 fuel pump or equivalent to be safe (stock fuel pump worked at 300hp but dont chance it!)

youl want a 3inch exhaust from fwdperformance.com with a open flowing muffler.

some sort of intercooler kit. I use cx racing intercooler kits from their ebay site. sorts great for me and keeps my intake temps cool

youl also want to do supporting mods

-port upper intake
-52mm throttle body from 3.3 mini van in the junkyard
-kmperformance or pollybushings.com solid bobble strut (prevents engine from rocking)
-clutch
-polly shift bushings
youl need a way to tune. You can use a begi rising rate regulator and keep the stock ecu or you can run a piggy back ecu but the best way to go is a stand alone ecu. we like to use megasquirt. It gives you full control of the fuel and ignition.

its best to take it one step at a time. Get your supporting mods done (cat back exhaust, ported upper intake, 52mm throttle body) then we will discuss tuning options, manifold setup, fuel options, and turbo options. IT wont be a walk in the park to get it done but it can be done. im fresh out of high school and turbochaged mine

My opinion on the subject is get your monitoring and engine management figured out before you build the turbo setup.
