on the SBEC pinout the #9 spot which is a 14DB (14awg dark blue) i need someone to confirm that this is the SBEC "turn on power supply"... im trying to figure out which wire actually supply's 12V power to the SBEC and i think ive narrowed it down to this one... any info would help, thanks!!!

My 90 SBEC manual shows that as the ignition feed so you are correct.

Re: SBEC pin cavity #9... need a confirmation

ok, let me ask this, there are 2 power feeds that run into our ignition switch, a 14RD and a 14PK... from what i can gather it seems the 14RD feeds power into the ign switch THEN to the starter and that DB which feeds power to the "important" functions,

meanwhile the 14PK feeds the ign switch which then powers like the raido, heater/ac, wipers etc....

i want to replace my keyed ign switch with an Auto-Rod pro stock switch panel, (here http://www.autorod.net/products/ ) i want it to power up the ignition (SBEC) starter switch, fuel pump and cooling fan....

i was thinking that i could just put the 14PK and the 14RD together to the switch "in" term, then the 14DB and the other wire(s) that come out of the switch "out"... the Auto-Rod 12V feed also powers the fuel pump switch and the cooling fans...

Re: SBEC pin cavity #9... need a confirmation

The red and pink/black wires supply 12 volts to the ignition. Then from there the blue wire is the ignition feed to the car, the yellow should be the starter, and the blank/orange the accessory circuit. The red and pink/black should both ultimately come from the same 12 volt source. I looked at the switch panel on the website but it really doesn't give much for the overall wiring of the switches. My guess is you could probably rewire it slightly to split the power feed to independently use the red and pink/black or it should work fine combining them at the panel. It might be easier to just run a new power feed from the battery using a 8 or 4 gauge power kit from a stereo shop.
