    Thank you,

these wheels only come with an offset of 30 in 5x100 configuration. This translates to a backspacing of 5.68" (according to online calculators).

As a side story I've now had an "ah ha!" moment on offset vs backspacing. As we know offset is just how far offset the mounting face is from the center-line of the wheel. Backspacing must incorporate the actual edge of the wheel and not just the advertised width (which is NOT measured!!!). This is why the backspacing on a ET30 wheel is 5.68 and not 5.18. Maybe i like backspacing now instead of offset. It is easier to understand how the wheel will actually fit.

    Re: 86 Horizon Build

    Time for an update.

The used radiator i bought (that leaked) was a reworked Ron Davis circle track radiator. Because I already mocked it up to fit the car I decided to re-create that radiator. This involved welding brackets onto it and modifying the inlet and outlet. I got a quote from Ron Davis to make the radiator to my specifications and it was nearly $1,100! So naturally i did not go that route. I instead bought the off the shelf radiator and took it to a local fabricator to have it modified.

As you can see its pretty beefy and is just about as large as you could go for this application. (BTW universal radiators are hard to come by for L-Bodies due to the height of the radiator. Most radiator manufacture's shortest radiator is 19". I needed more a long the lines of 16")

Here is the slim Flex a lite fan with weatherpack connector installed.

Going for a cruise to flush out the cooling system due to an electrolysis problem (if anyone is curious i can explain. this issue side tracked me for quite some time )

    My new car! (just kidding)

Good to see you're still at it!

    FYI,

You can use a camber plate for your front suspension if you want. I did all the leg work.
    http://www.turbo-mopar.com/forums/sh...nts&highlight=

I found that using a helper spring in my coilover cause my suspension to wander a bit while braking. So I took the front helper spring out and left the rear helper springs in place.

    Re: 86 Horizon Build

Baby Braille battery was on its way out. Decided I could no longer deal with the anxiety of a small battery so I put a full size in the back.

Fun little optima specific hold down.

    Installed

First track day with the car. NASA DE3 on Wild Horse Pass East Track.

Had some issues on the track that cut my day short. Long story but I had the head redone. Nothing glaringly wrong however.

Cleaned the tops of my pistons so they look nice

I was loosing oil pressure around the hard turns. Time for an upgrade!

    Liner removed from pan.

    Turbos Unleashed baffled unit installed.

3 speed kick-down bracket hacked off because i was bored

And finally installed the 52mm throttle body I had for years (and matched the opening in the manifold accordingly)

yes it does! no oil cooler yet....that day ambient was around 105. unfortunately my longest session was only 15 minutes do to some issues but my oil temps never got above 200f. mind you that was low boost and only 15 minutes but i understand every minute over makes a huge difference.

are you running a sandwich plate between the block and filter?

Remote filter that's located where the charcoal canister was so it's not a sandwich but just an adapter plate.

Been a very very long time since I updated this thread.

    Accusump installed, coils re-located.

4 Point cage with Cobra seats and Schroth 6 point.

    Track day things

    Current situation.

Cracked my custom exhaust manifold. Found a used Turbos Unleashed cast manifold years ago that will be going on
