I have been working on a new casting from '83. There is no A/C boss. The head has been machined for dual springs w/dampner. I am putting it together with Manley springs and titanium retainers. The valves are 1.730" intake & 1.430" exhaust. The intake port is the same as I had provided for James Reeves car and Dan Carson's car. The ports are filled with epoxy and reshaped. There are NO holes in the head! The exhaust port is squared off at the outlet so whomever decides to purchase this head will need to do a little custom work to take full advantage of it. I will put Manley Severe Duty GenII valves in it as I have done to all my heads. I also have reshaped the chambers and radiused all the oil drainback holes. Manganese-bronze guides are in it also. Stainless steel expansion plugs are are used. Price for the head is going to be $1850.00. I will provide pictures to anyone interested. The head is nearing completion as of this writing.
